The HOPI Tribe made its first ever visit to the historic Venetian Pool in Coral Gables on Saturday, for a day of swimming, splashing water-war-games and relaxing. Family and new friends came along to make for an excellent outing. The girls (and dads) had fun swimming through the grotto, jumping off the rocks, and going under the waterfall. We also had some very competitive swimming war games where even the littlest HOPI showed how well they can swim. The spring water was cool at first, but felt good in the hot sun. We also enjoyed the trees that surround the pool, providing cool shade and flowers. Participating were John, Rich, and Steve with their families, and new recruits Jay, Mike, Scott and Scott.
